Emerging Leadership Institute

Emerging Leadership Institute (ELI) is a leadership development program for newly identified leaders at Ivy Baptist Church (IBC).

What is the Purpose of ELI?

The purpose of ELI is to provide biblically-based instruction and training to enable participants to serve as effective spiritual leaders.

​

Who should sign up for ELI?

​

Any newly inspired and identified potential leaders who are currently faithfully serving in a ministry at IBC should sign up for ELI.

​

How do I enroll in ELI?

​

Applicants begin the enrollment process by submitting and online application.  A paper copy can be made available by contacting the church office.  Enrollment applications must be completed by October 21, 2019.  Panel interviews will be conducted with each applicant in October and November 2019.  Notifications will be made in December 2019.

When will ELI classes begin and how often will they take place?

​

Classes will begin on January 25, 2020 and will be held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m (tentative). There may be other meeting dates/times throughout the course to allow for practical application of leadership skills. The class will be comprised of an twelve-month classroom instruction and application component with a six-month internship within Ivy Baptist Church. The total time commitment is one year.
