Ivy's Available Ministries
Media Ministry
Media Team members receive hands on experience in directing Sunday morning services, operating robotic cameras, floor directing and recording live services. Sunday morning streaming begins at 9:45 every Sunday morning. ProPresenter 7 is the graphic system used to produce colorful and eye-catching graphics. Team members provide services for all ministries by way of video recording commercials and promotional videos. The media team works very closely with the marketing department to record and edit online video content for the church website and social media platforms.
Marketing Ministry
Help capture the fullness and impact of love,grow, serve both inhouse and in the community. Assist with voice-overs, content creation, and social media engagement with members and visitors.
Christian Education
Tutoring - Tutor students on-line via zoom, all grades Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 Sept-May

Cancer Ministry - Coordinates Rainbow of Hope luncheon), raises funds for Relay of Life and participates in the relay race, educates congregation on different types of cancers.

Ivy Educators - Educators and support staff work to provide resources to families and students. The ministries mission is to support students and families on essential educational topics. Ivy Educators strives to facilitate workshops, town halls and be a resource to families to support students in becoming College, Career and Citizen Ready. Ivy Educators also recognize the efforts of school staff.

Scholarship Ministry - Brief parents and students about available scholarships and the process for applying, review scholarship applications, collaborate with 116 to provide scholarship workshops.

Transition Ministry- Helps new members connect and get acclimated in the congregation.

Member Relations Team: Assist members with information about upcoming church events

Stephen Ministry: Provides one-on-one care for members experiencing difficult life situations.

Prayer Warriors: Leads intercessory prayer
Community Outreach
Street Ministry- Members go out into the community and talk to people, invite them to church, see if they can meet any immediate needs. 1st & 3rd Sat of the month.
Missionary Ministry- USDA feeding, and visits convalescent homes. Mails cards to Ivy members who are going through challenges (illness, death, etc.)

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry is responsible for leading the congregation in divine praise and worship and bringing glory to God through song. They minister at Sunday services as well as other functions or events when requested.
Choir - The Mass Choir is comprised of men, women, boys, and girls of all ages.
Praise & Worship Team - Sets the atmosphere and helps to usher in the presence of Holy Spirit. They encourage the congregation to participate in worship.
Band - The band is comprised of accomplished professional musicians who have a heart for God. They accompany the vocalist as they minister to God in song.

Beams of Hope - The children’s choir is for children ages 4-12. They minister every fourth Sunday. The children learn biblical principles through song.

Ministry in Arts
God’s Purposed
God’s Purpose is a youth/teen dance ministry for children ages 10-17. The mission of the ministry is to give children a way to express themselves to God through dance and flag. Our prayer is that they strengthen their relationship with Christ more and more each day as they use their whole being to bring glory to God.

Yadah Worshippers
Yadah Worshippers is an adult mime ministry for ages 18 and older. Yadah are true worshippers. We stand on the word of God. We have the Holy Spirit activate through us.

MBC
Masked by Christ, also known as MBC, is a ministry that was created to accommodate young adults ages 18-35 who have a passion for expressing their love for God through the gift of mine and dance. Our desire is to not only reach young adults, but to use our bodies as conduits for God to move through and reach all his people.

God's Anointed
God's Anointed is fellowship of women 18 and older who truly have a heart for worship! We know the importance of this ministry and use our whole bodies to display our love and adoration for our Lord and Savior. We normally minister several times throughout the year, which requires dedication and time. We also minister during Praise and Worship on a rotation with the other ministries of MIA. As a member of the ministry, you are also invited to participate in flag waving during intercessory prayer.
Miracles of Faith
Miracles of Faith are our adult seniors 55 and older dance ministry. They truly have a heart for ministry in dance and prove that God can use anyone regardless of age. The Miracles minister several times during the year. They love to fellowship, pray, and support each other with love.

Kingdom Kids
Kingdom Kids is the youth dance ministry for children ages 4-9. This ministry teaches children how to use their whole bodies to praise and worship the Lord through dance. They are taught the basics of dancing and flagging and what it means to glorify God through movement.

Drama Ministry
Volunteers participate in plays using acting and creative thinking. Participants must be committed to learning the script and attending scheduled rehearsals.

Auxiliary Ministries
Ushers- Show people to their seats on Sunday mornings and funerals
POC: Charles Martin
Culinary- Prepare and provide meals for special events, community feeding, repasses. Requires food handlers training.
POC: Linda Hinton
Greeters- Greet people at the doors, check to ensure people have face mask, issue guest information cards. Works on Sunday mornings, and at funerals if need.
POC: Benita Jones
Military- Responsible for Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies and Veteran fellowships.
POC: Le’Vette Hayes
Nurses- On site during Sunday service and funerals to respond to any sicknesses or injuries that occur. CPR training required.
