Winter 2026 Class Descriptions

All Discipleship Classes will be held on Wednesdays in January. They will run 4 weeks—January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

This is a 3 part class which will be taught in the Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions Discover the power of the spoken word to bolster your faith when you’re doubting. Discern what should or shouldn’t be said so that you honor God with your speech. Develop the ability to praise God and voice wisdom even in tough circumstances. Get inspired by this teaching on the tongue and model with your mouth the character of God. Don’t let your words bring cursing or destruction to yourself and those you love. Instead, let your words minister to and speak life into the world around you.
We fast to draw closer to God, have a deeper relationship with God, make time for God, and feed our Spirits. What are we seeking? Breakthroughs, healing, deliverance, direction, protection, wisdom, provision, and much more!
In recent times the subject of tithing, as taught in the Bible has sparked more debate, raised questions and provoked several reactions, some of which relate to the necessity of tithing. Questions include ‘Is tithing necessary?’ ‘Was it meant for New Testament believers, or is it strictly for people under Mosaic laws?’ Could it be that it may have been abolished with the Levitical laws which were fulfilled when Christ was crucified? Are we subject to the same curses which the Old Testament says were if they did not bring the tithe?” In this class we will discuss the subject and clarify the three times where the tithing was practiced in the Bible. That is: before the law of Moses, secondly, as established by the law of Moses and thirdly under the covenant of grace where we see Jesus aligning Himself with the priesthood of Melchizedek.
Believers can walk in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in every area of life. The Holy Spirit wants those who know Him to hear His gentle leading when He speaks to their heart, soul, and spirit. He wants to help believers enter into the relationship with God they yearn for, the wholeness and freedom God has for them, and the fulfillment of God’s promises to them. He wants to lead them. As believers trust in the Holy Spirit and His great love for them, they will be filled with His mind, knowledge, wisdom, understand their special calling, and sense His guidance in the way they should go.

There are certain teachings of the Bible that every Christian must know. Theology is important because what we believe affects how we live. We will cover following topics: the Bible and it authority in our lives; the characteristics of God; the importance of prayer; Angels and the reality of spiritual warfare; the biblical understanding of heaven; and much more
