about the YDM Elementary facilitator
I would love to start out with a brotherly Paul type greeting like 1 Cor 1:2-3 ... to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ -- their Lord and ours: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. BUT I think I will just start by saying, hello! My name is Mrs. Tiana Johnson. I am so excited about this new branch of YDM. I am so excited about this new branch of YDM.
A little about me... Well, first of all, I L.O.V.E. the Lord. It is my heart's desire to please Him, which is why I am here. I prayed and asked God to enlarge my territory and show me what I could do for Him and He showed me... YDM. All thanks be to Christ Jesus! I am a happily married, proud mama of 3 (soon to be 4). When I grow up, I want to open my own bakery. I eat my dessert first. I like funny movies and knock-knock jokes. I can't stand mayo, cinnamon gum or socks. I pray and journal everyday because I love quiet time with my savior. I have worked in youth ministry for going on 5 years now and I can't wait to see what God has in store for us here.
My approach to this ministry is to:
- Teach based on the Word of God,
- Use daily activities for application,
- Model the lessons taught,
- And encourage the youth to be young and unashamed of the gospel!
Whew, with that said, I'm ready to get started.
